said by Quantex$ : Toldja, there is NO WAY IN HELL a service could have that speed so cheap. If it could be that cheap, we'd have 900 reviews a week for them.
It was that cheap, did you check the reviews I posted above. Plus its not available in all areas so there wouldn't be that many reviews. -- "The Final Frontier is not Space it is the Human Imagination." - Boeing |

| reply to Quantex$ I don't know what is going on with Cyberonic in terms of billing but with previous references I have done, the service for a 1500/768 line was provided for 49.99 through worldcom and many users are paying at that price as of now. So I can't take your comments as fact as of yet. And yes Rhythm is dead but it's worldcom that Cyberonic is reselling at such speeds (or was from what you are telling us). Though I heard that the price figure you mentioned earlier was for a business type setup, I still cannot confirm as of yet.

| Well there you have it Differenciam. I don't know where you got your figures from but people are still paying 49.99 for the services. There's nothing surprising about that anyway. And be aware, like ISP such as DSLExtreme, Cyberonic is a regional ISP (though they are expanding as the rest of them). Depending on where you are, or of cooperative ILEC (although this is not much an issue as of now), and/or distance, you may or may not get service from Cyberonic.
Breacker here in th NY -- Verizon Territory. Being that Worldcom serves in his area, he's able to recieve services from Cyberonic -- ·.·´¯`·.·Meteor Dive·.·´¯`·.· [text was edited by author 2003-01-26 19:59:50] |

Differciam: No servers? Does it really stop anyone from making servers? I know plentlyof friends who keep 24/7 counter-strike servers up. What stops them? I imagine that no servers is in the policy of many ISPs as well. -- #ogc lan - a scrim team |
