Saving Avatar Upload Date

Could we get the original upload date saved with our avatar when we save them on our avatar upload page so when we return to that avatar the original upload date will be shown? As it is now, when we switch to a temporary avatar for a special occasion/holiday then change back to our regular avatar we get a new upload date. For example, I used a Christmas avatar for the holiday season and have switched back to my regular avatar. Now my upload date shows Jan. 1, 2003. It would be very nice if the original upload date were displayed rather than the date we switch back from a holiday or special occasion avatar.

Before everyone gets started, yes there is a reason for my request. The upload date currently displayed can be helpful in determining who used an avatar first if a dispute develops in the event of an avatar being used by two or more people. You loose your upload date when you switch for the holidays under the current system.

I suppose to prevent people from uploading several avatars and camping on them forever you could limit the slots that will save the upload date. Maybe just the avatar in the first position? Members would still be encouraged to pick one primary avatar they can protect if only one date or a very few upload dates were saved.

Thank you very much for any consideration you may give this request.

That's less of a new feature than a bug...moving there.
