| How about this...
Has anyone orderd the cable service and not used it to keep the bill at 42.95? I just got the Comcast letter and the rate increase to 56.99. I am thinking, order the service, stay at 42.95 and all is well.
Of course, I will not give up my satellite for the cable service. Any comments? |

| Although i dont care for cable tv it does come in handy a few months ago when i got attbi they talked me into getting there basic service and giving me a discount,so i was like ahh ok.A few weeks down the line we had a big storm and our satellite went out,so luckly i had cable and could get my local channels and got the 411 on what was happening and took cover since there was a storm coming towards us,but thank god it switch directions. |

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I SAY!
Take basic as a Back up.
Hell if you are stingy.. tell your satellite company you don't want their "version" of basic cable.
My parents got Basic cable Just for the "other TV's" they have.. during a storm they were glad they had it cause satellite was out!..
When their contract is up they are going back to Cable..
