I wasn't sure where to post this, but does anyone know where to find episodes of the old fox cartoon "Peter Pan and the Pirates"? |

| reply to bobdilon No, I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure they're separate series, animations, voices, etc... Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates was a two year long series back in 1990 and 1991 and, again, I think, was a separate franchise from Disney's Pan...Peter Pan is an older story, and though Disney has made movies and owns their Pan, Fox did there's separately, but from the same piece of literature. Thanks though... |

| reply to bobdilon They re-ran half a season back in 1998 on the Fox Family channel, but it's not on anymore. As I do more research, I fins that episodes are very rare, some have been released on tape, but not all. Most of what you can find is on Ebay and that's pretty rare. As of now, I doubt it'll be possible to download, and it'll be almost impossible to buy. Thanks all, and if you find anything, let me know. |

| reply to bobdilon That's it! Again, the problem is, there are fan sites and people have picks of the videos, but no actual videos yet...I'll just keep up with Ebay and keep searching...
As far as the series, if you ever get a chance, it was excellent. Hook was done by Tim Curry and he's the best. The story was good, the animation decent, and man, I just love the story of Peter Pan. |

Sorry to come to the party so late, but I must inform you that the character of Peter Pan is very much in the public domain. Unfortunately, part of the great irony surrounding the Disney Studios these days is that many of the characters from their most beloved films (such as Cinderella, Snow White, Pinocchio and Peter Pan) are public domain, but they have successfully lobbied many times in the past to extend the copyright laws to protect the characters of their own creation (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, et al). So, they have no compunction about using someone else's characters to make some coin without having to pay royalties, but don't even THINK about infringing upon any of their copyrights! -- I use conjecture and hearsay. Those are kinds of evidence. - Lionel Hutz |

| reply to bobdilon Yeah, Peter Pan was not created by Disney. Though, I must say, Peter Pan and the Pirates, was really a great show ^-^ It was a lot darker than Disney's movie, that's for darn sure.
Though, you know? There's a GRAND enterprise in releasing older cartoons and show in DVD box sets. I can think of nearly 50 cartoons I'd love to see in DVD format! Hmm.. maybe I should start a topic discussing this.. -- (Armaina Ryu...
