While the topic is new, we still need confirmation if the setup would work on the Xbox console. I don't and will never have access to an Xbox to verify. Anyone here care to give the simple setup a shot?

What an evening.
With this issue at hand as of now, perhaps it's time we go ahead and drop the proxies (wingate & allaboard) that were used to manage the PS2's connection.
That's the reason why I didn't go along and typed a FAQ concerning the setup since I was waiting for a day where the PS2 would connect without the client on a mini network.
