Why do I get the feeling Jad is from AT&T..
Obviously he'll deny to the grave that he is not... but only someone who affiliated somehow would defend so hard. Share holder?? Mailroom worker?? Janitor??
You gotta be in there somewhere.. |

I have read the back and forth on this post. Interesting. For what it is worth, I use AT&T for Long Distance and if they offer me DSL I will use it from them. I am so far from the CO that NorthPoint was my only provider and my cable company does not offer Internet Access.
I think it is a real shame that people are holding AT&T responsible for this. I have worked for large businesses and owned my own business and this is the way the world works.
Good luck Spelling checked in Word but not guaranteed. |

Just one question Chipinphilly, if ATT were doing wrong in a situation where they OWED northpoint customers (meaning the ISP's doesnt it?) then why doesnt some government regulatory commission or agency sue for the rights of the people in which they serve? | I love poorly-worded, hardly grammatically sensible flames such as yours. Even if I understood what you are saying, I surely wouldn't respond.

| I tell you what why dont you "surely wouldnt respond" when your petition actually kills AT&T and they quake with fear because of your tremendous outcome of JACK SQUAT!!!!! Otherwise I would be surely amiss to even feel adequate enough to discuss with you in any forum the consequances of AT&T buying Northpoints equipment. Not only does your petition not make any sense especially this late in the game when many if not most of NP's ISP had either moved on (and with that there customers) or given up. "Hello. My name is Chipinphilly. You killed my DSL. Prepare to die." What a joke!!!!!!!!!! -- Matthew Ex-Northpoint, Qwest, Covad OSP Network Technician |

| reply to Anon If you want the question better defined for your small brain I would be more than happy to. If AT&T WERE doing something illegal in buying Northpoints equipment at the "steal of deal" rate that they got it for, why hasnt some government agency or commission stepped up and sued or taken proper action against AT&T? Perhaps because possibly they didnt do anything WRONG? Grow up, welcome to DSL business, and take on a better cause - maybe something worth fighting for. | reply to Anon 1. AT&T did nothing _illegal._ What they did was completely reprehensible, however, and totally immoral.
2. It isn't _my_ petition. I didn't start it, a fact that has failed to register on many brains more completely preoccupied by finding a burger and a coke. If you don't believe me, click the petition link and read the fine print.
3. *Sniff* *Sniff* Do I smell a troll?
4. Is that the same guy that was on Talk Radio?

| So let me get this straight you want to teach AT&T a morality lesson? Now that is comical. Forget about the burger and coke analogy, you would have to smoking crack if your planning on teaching morals to a corporation. LOL -- Matthew Ex-Northpoint, Qwest, Covad OSP Network Technician |

| Chipinphilly, I am having a hard time understanding what your witty (low quality at that) have to do with the subject at hand. That subject in case you have forgotten has to do with AT&T taking over NP's equipment. Using big words doesnt scare me, what does bother me is the useless remarks you have to discuss in this forum when you can think of nothing else to reply with. Makes one wonder how you cope with real life if that is your idea of a discussion. But then again I should be understanding, you are just fulfilling your role of being that certain percentage that isnt that bright to begin with. Dont worry I dont blame you for being stupid but I do blame you for making others listen to you useless words of criticism. -- Matthew Ex-Northpoint, Qwest, Covad OSP Network Technician |

| Now that is the best yet, someday when you realize your futility of the issue. Perhaps then you will understand that directing your aggression towards me, is only a displacement of your true feelings of animosity towards AT&T. But even though is this the case, you need to find a healthier output of your feelings. I hope this information helps. -- Matthew Ex-Northpoint, Qwest, Covad OSP Network Technician |
