I have been a customer of Eastlink service for over a year now and as it is the only high speed service in the part of the Annapolis vally that i live in i have nothing to say about the differance between DSL and cable but i can say that i am very happy with the service and the speed that i am getting here, using numion.com speed check i am getting speeds of 600 to 700 Kbps to other Candian sites and 500 to 600 Kbps to other world sites. I must aggree that at time it is hard to get hold of there tech service people but when i have talked with them it has been a good experince. Over all i am very happy with Eastlink service. |

| Don't go with Eastlink. I got capped and my speeds are just horrible now, the Internet is almost unusable now. I didnt know they automatically upgrade you to the business package if you go over 30 GB, does that come with a up in price? I didint even know there was a 30GB cap untill i got capped, and i can say for sure i wouldn't of got capped if they would of just told me. As it stands Eastlink is one of the worst highspeed isps i have ever had. Stay away from them! |

| eastlink offers 2 small busniess packages. The first is $89.95/month, same speeds as residential service, static ip, and rate limited to 40 gigs per month. (these eastlink tech tards are stupid for thinking people will more that double the cost of thier service for 10 more gigs of downloads, makes more sense here to buy 2 resdiential lines)
The next busniess package is $400/month, 20 static ip's and unlimited down and uploads.
I dissagree with the capping, but I must say...the least these fools could do if offer some kind of intermediate package for home users. |
