I'm mildly against the idea of titles for the board members. It carries an implication that one is better than another. I understand the need for a treasurer, but not for a pres and VP.
Nine does seem like a good number though.

Certainly understand about the mild objection to the titles. Something generic can be used, such as Advisor Position 1 - 9 or some such.
Trying to think clearly now but I keep thinking in Oracle database terms. OFA, OMF, Segments, Blocks sizes, v$ blah blah blah.
I'm confident that others on this team will suggest some other names. =)

I think it's very important to have structure, a line of command for this. Otherwise, it can become chaotic & can cause more problems than it will solve. Titles may not be necessary as long as there is a line of command so to speak.
I agree with ColdinCbus that we do need people to do the work of Chairperson, Treasurer & Secretary.  |
