Anybody with any viable alternative whatsoever should simply drop Comcast.
I used to have Comcast, and the same day a viable alternative (Wide Open West) became available in my city, I dropped them like a hot potato. I actually went without cable Internet for a weekend, until I got WOW installed. Dial-up had never been so good.
