One other thing, you can use any FTP program you want if you don't like that crappy one on the website. Just ftp to mywebpages.comcast.net and log in with your account name and password.
If you decide to use some kind of graphical based ftp client, just make sure it doesn't come bundled with spyware etc. Do some searching on Google, etc. to find a good one. I like WSftp (ipswitch.com) has a very nice graphical client which used to be free, but is now pretty pricey. 
Anyway, sounds like you're getting the info you need!
