Make their lives difficult (Weekly Contest #7)

Free form this week, folks. Time to cause the poor judges real pain.

Last week's winner is Mauricio9 See Profile, with his British Library shot. Congratulations!

Here are the rules

Dogwood blossoms from the tree outside my window. Taken in maco mode. The photo was taken on an overcast day so the image was tweaked to remove slight muddiness.
The larger image is in the gallery.

Puente del Inca

This is the location of a natural bridge, used since antiquity by Inca traders in Mendoza province, Argentina. The bridge is to the left of the picture, in a very angled perspective. The structure to the right of the bridge are abandoned thermal baths. The yellow color comes from sulphur accumulation over the years. This is a scan from a picture taken in 1996 with a very old Nikon camera.

Here's another one in my Glacier Park series. I uploaded two images - one of which is the result of running the PSP hot wax effect on the original. I liked the result as much as the original so I decided to post the original and the variant.

La Ramblas in Barcelona always a hub of activity, has many surprises and artistry, one of the family's favourites were the statues, so lifeless that you could walk right by.... this particular one also had the most amusing animated segments

A flag on rainy day... It isn't that great, but I want to feel important. It's not edited at all.

I like this one. Mainly because it looks like a Ben Folds album cover.

I normally wouldn't post this since I wasn't happy with the composition, but here's the deal...

I shot this out the window while passing over the crater in Winslow, AZ. The early morning sun and the glass of the window produced this great effect through my lens. When I went to get it processed, they screwed it up royally. I put it through PS and I was able to get the original effect back by working with the levels. Take it for what it's worth, but I had fun trying to get the original back.
