BEFW11S4 - can't fully access some web sites

I've got a BEFW11S4 running 1.40.3 (never had any pressing need to upgrade). For some reason, I am cannot fully access two web sites that I reguarly use: Hotjobs and Ofoto. I can connect to Hotjobs, but it won't allow me to search jobs beyond the first page of search results. When I use dial-up, the problems dissappear. I just started using Ofoto, and have encountered similar problems.

Also, my browser freezes up from time to time, so I decided to try installing the latest WPC11 driver/firmware. What a mess. Half the time, I am connected to the internet, but the WLAN monitor shows no link. It seems to be hit and miss when I shutdown my laptop, disconnect my mouse, and restart the computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Upgrading the router's firmware could help (although I'm not exactly sure if the problem lies there).

I posted the same problem with HotJobs on 04/13/03. I have the BEFW11S4 V2 with latest firmware 1.45 (not beta). The firmware upgrade did not help. I had firmware 1.43 before that, which didn't work with HotJobs either. HotJobs support tells me it is a problem with Linksys, contact Linksys. (I hate back and forth finger-pointing) I also have trouble with chase.com.

Someone here replied to my post, stating they had no problem. But you and I have the problem. If someone has a fix, please let us know.

For Hotjobs, you might try hitting the web browser Refresh Button, when the next page of a Search fails. Sometimes, that works for me. It does make it a slow go of Hotjobs, but it's better than no go.
