WPC54G problem!!

I have WRT54G router and a laptop with a WPC54G, the router is direct connected to my desktop by cable. Sending from a file of 350mb from my desktop to my laptop it take only 5 min, which is 54 mbps, normal. The problem is when I sent the same file from my laptop to my desktop the speed is only 5 mpbs, it took me 30 min to sent the 350mb.

any one can give me a solution???

As far as I know it WILL take more time to transfer files from wireless to LAN as compared to transferring from LAN to wireless. But it shouldn't take you that long. You didn't mention which OS u are using.
Try this, uninstall the drivers and update with these new beta ones

See if these beta drivers help in anyway. Also before doing this, reflash your firmware with the latest. Yes yes I know you will say "dude I have the latest"
First remove all wired and wireless connections from the router and do a long hard reset. After its backup just unplug it for a minute or 2. Plug it back on.
Attach only one wired connection to the router and flash with the latest firmware from that connection. It would be the safer way to do if you gave it a static ip rather than the router supplied dynamic ip of 192.168.1.100 as the first one in the network. Now unplug the router and again and plug it back on after a min or 2.. (I give a minimum of 3 mins for every power recycle).
Now you can go ahead and attach your wireless pc card and update its driver and connect it to the network.
Hope it works out this time
