| possible to add routing to the 2100 dual connect?
I have an extra Westell Dual connect I got from Verizon and after looking at Westell's page it got me wondering... is it possible to reflash the firmware on a dual connect bridge to an image from a dual connect router? Is the hardware the same on the bridge and router model modems? I'm wondering because with my old Westell that had the bellatlantic logo on it I upgraded it to Webshare after buying it from westell.com. So, would it be possible to extract a flash image from a router model 2100 and flash it to a 2000(or whatever Verizon gives, mine says 2100 even though it's really a 2000)? |
