Re: Front-End User Interface for Startup List

said by jaykaykay:
OK. Cool. Now what do I do with it?
Good question.;) I just wanted a way to make it easier for me run StartupList's options without having to type in the Run box. Since I was doing a lot of testing on these applications, I had to use the Run box more than I wanted -- so I decided that StartupList needed a "front-end". Ergo, I wrote that while I was on my plane flight last weekend!

It is useful if you run StartupList relatively often AND you want to use one of the "command line switches". Otherwise you probably will have no use for it. Lurkers has the options listed above -- and if you hover the mouse over the options, essentially the same data appears as a ToolTip.

As I have alluded to before, I will gladly spend one hour now to save myself one minute later. This is likely one of those cases. However, it was a good excuse for me to learn more Visual Basic...

Edit: Eliminated the consecutive use of the word "so".;)
