| How do I measure noise margins with the Zyxel 643
I'm a new ADSL user with Covad and am having issues with
my noise margins (and hence have been put into Safe Mode).
Is there some way that the Zyxel 643 router can tell me
what the margins are (either via the telnet or http
interfaces?) |

| Yes it can be done both ways. Give me a second and will post back with info.
Telnet in and hit 24 and then 8 and type "wan adsl linedata near" no quotes and that is downstream and up is "wan adsl linedata far"

Diagnostic

Hit upstream or downstream
Also look at this thread »Firmware rasied noise margins on 643 this new firmware seems to increase margins and make the line more stable.
