Now wasn't XP supposed to be stable and wonderful? Right!!! OK, it's better than some versions but Microsoft seems to be hell bent on the "let's see if we can really stuff it up" scenario "panic stations, all hands on deck" deal. I gave up ages ago on installing Pre Service Pack updates and just wait for the main Service Packs backing everything up before hand and always expecting the worse. Very Sad!!!!!!! |

That's what they said about Windows 95sr2, 98, ME, & 2000 when they were released.
If it works, why change?
If I could have all OS's on the same 3rd party support level, I consider DrDOS 7.xx and OS/2 WARP (3 or 4) better alternatives. Both are true multi-tasking environments and have true running program independence. |
