[Anime] Tenchi Muyo

Before you ask why I am watching this series, well, I am watching for the pure laughter of it all. I want a series that more or less sends me to the ground laughing my head off, and so far, this series has done just that.

Ok, I have put the Tenchi Muyo Vol. 4 disk in my NetFlix Query, but now, I can't find the Tenchi Muyo Vol. 5 disk. Supposedly, this is the OVA series.

I have looked and looked across the web at many Anime only e-commerce shops to find that for some reason the entire series just drops off at the 4th disk. I don't get it, why would they drop it off at that point in the series.

What series continues from the point that the 4th disk leaves off?

The Universe and In Tokyo series are messed up, the origins are completely different from the series that I am watching now.

Re: [Anime] Tenchi Muyo

There are only 13 episodes to the OVA. You've probably seen all of it then. As far as I can tell, all the series are separate of each other:

Tenchi Muyo OVA
Tenchi Universe
Tenchi in Tokyo
Tenchi GXP? (new)
Tench Movies 1, 2, 3

None of them really have much to do with carrying a storyline from one series into another. They are still amusing though. I personally liked Tenchi in Tokyo... I thought it was a cute series. Tenchi in Love (Movie 1) was pretty good too. I thought Movie 3 wasn't that great though.

Re: [Anime] Tenchi Muyo

Tenchi in Tokyo actually starts after the OVA and Universe collections... though I can't remember which it supposedly continues from (if any).
