Tutorial For making a seamless computer BG

This tutorial is for photoshop.
When finished it will look like

It is VERY easy to make.

1) First start with a 200x200 pixel image.
2) Set the two colors to #008F0D and #00FB8E
3) Render -> Render Clouds
4) Adjust the brighness and contrast
----Use Brightness: -60, Contrast: +70
5) Then Pixelate -> Mosiac
----Use cell size of 15
6) Use Styleize -> Find egdes
7) Then Invert the image (ctrl +I)
8) Now Adjust the brightness and contrast again
----Use Brightness: +30, Contrast: +40
9) Duplicate the layer
10) Use Styleize -> Glowing Edges
----Edge Width: 2, Edge Brightness: 6, Smoothness (4, 5, or 6)
11) Set the new layer's mode the new layer's mode to lighten
12) Merge the two layers
13) Adjust the brighness and contrast
----Use Brightness: -20, Contrast: -15

The above image should result and it is seamless when tiled.

My teacher asked the square root of Pi. I thought the answer was 2 slices.

Nice! Now I've go to see if it works tiled.

EDIT: I didn't use the exact numbers you applied, for I went for a different style: More of a "neon glow".

Mine doesn't appear to look exactly the same as yours.

I have no idea where I went wrong, but one thing I did notice was that the option to merge layers was only on one of the layers, and even then it was greyed out.

I love to do all the PhotoShop tutorials on offer around here because I'm such a PS dummy and love to learn!

Third try lucky!

Don't know how I did it, because I copied and pasted the colours you posted into PS, but I got two completely different colours the second time and it worked so much better!

That explains it.

Just a quick addition.
If you do it in black and white, you can set it to overlay a colored cloud layer to get some nice effects.
