POWER SCHEMES

To All,
When I go into screensaver and then go to monitor power. That's where the hibenation comes in anyway. When I tried to put something else in the power scheme as the directions say. I got a ERROR MESSAGE Power policy manager unable to set policy.Indicates revisions levels are incompatiable. I have no idea what that error message means or what to do PLEASE HELP

What OS are we talking about here? Is this a laptop or desktop? What kind of machine?

That info would be helpful in solving your problem.
