[Streamyx] About The New Streamyx Server Ip and The Slow Down

well, i believe now all or most ppl are on 219.93.218.177 streamyx server ip now, but this ip just like last time 1.1.1.1 server ip, it was a fake ip too, do a reverse traceroute on your current ip and u will find out.
www.traceroute.org

Here is a proxy server 202.71.97.92:7799 which can boost your streamyx connection, it host on tmnet netmyne 100mbps backbone, credit to wKkaY aka doubleukay www.doubleukay.com

You can use it while slow down but even without the slowdown, it still be faster till the max rate of your streamyx connection for loading webpages and downloading.

Re: [Streamyx] About The New Streamyx Server Ip an

Is the new proxy server to be entered in Internet explorer LAN settings? And 202.71.97.92:7799 Is 7799 the port no.? There's an option in the LAN setting in IE asking to "Bypass proxy server for local address". Should I put a check mark there or not?

if u using router, key in the proxy setting at Local Area Network setting is right, but if u using modem, u should key in that proxy setting to your dialer properties, and not matter what u use do not tick the automatically detect settings. but tick the Bypass proxy server for local address
is ok.

In IE,
Goto Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections Tab

If using router, set the proxy in LAN Settings.
If using manual dialing, click on your connection in the 'Dial-up settings' and click on Settings. Set the proxy there.

That proxy is never slow.
It is connected to a switch, which is connected to TMnet's datacenter server.
