i was wondering what's your folks lowest ping time to anywhere on the internet.
weather it's to the 1st hop or anywhere else my ping doesn't seem to be lower than 20ms..
i even pinged 2000 CounterStrike servers using ASE and none of them were below 20ms.
with my old Mindspring dsl i could get like 7ms pings during gameplay.

I run PingPlotter all the time and the lowest to my 1st hop over the last 24 hours was 13 msec but during idle it averages about 20 msec.
CLEC is Covad and after a year in Safe Mode actually in FastPath now (yay! ). I looked at an archive from April in Safe Mode and the min then was 24 msec and average about 35 msec. |
