urbman Phasers Locked On Target join:1999-06-25 Niagara Falls, NY	I like to test out new stuff. I have installed it 3 times so far. One clean install, one upgraded from SP3 on a Citrix Server and once on a RRAS server, no problems to report thus far. I am holding off for a little be before the domain controllers. -- The only difference between genius and stupidity is, genius has its limits.

acehyde Tired. Premium join:2001-08-14 clubs:	Just applied to a computer that had been giving me problems with new hardware installs (I was going to re-install the OS in the next few days to see if that would solve it), applied the service pack, re-tried the sound card driver installation and voila', we have sound! Thanks for the link (I will let everyone know if any detrimental issues arise from the install).

I'll install it on my VMWare vm tonite, and I'll report back if there are any issues/errors.

I wonder if SP4 has an updated version of Spoolsv.exe? Any version later then or equal to this information should fix the Q329170 problem.

I have just installed SP4 and spoolsv.exe is version number 5.0.2195.6659 (as above) but is shown as being created on May 2, 2003. What is different is the file size which is 45,328 bytes.

I have just installed SP4 and spoolsv.exe is version number 5.0.2195.6659 (as above) but is shown as being created on May 2, 2003. What is different is the file size which is 45,328 bytes.

I've likewise got version 5.0.2195.6659 after applying SP4 and also 45,328 bytes, but yet a different date: 19-Jun-2003. Did some testing and the shutdown problem did not occur.

REALLYTANGY @uu.net	I have a system that had 329170 profile issues and after SP4 the "issues" went away and logs are clean (going on 3 days with no errors or warnings) Try installing it just remember to archive first

Marilla I Am My Own Arbiter Premium join:2002-12-06 Belpre, OH	I think the first thing I would want to see is a list of bugfixes and security holes fixed by SP4 that are not in SP3, and without having to do the elimination myself. hehe So I suppose when MS releases that info, I'll look over it. I sure do hope it's nice and stable, though, because I'll have a new 2K Server installation coming soon that would benefit from just being able to get SP4...
