| Private E-mail servers?
Does EL block access to private e-mail servers?
My grandfather has an EL account and suddenly he can't access my e-mail servers (where he has an account). Every time he hits check mail he get's a "connection closed by foreign host" error. Everything is fine on my end (not on EL) and i've had him verify all the pop settings which are all correct. Any ideas?
E-mail client is eudora if that makes a difference, shouldn't though.

Arlington, VA | Assuming you mean pop3 or imap, nope, should work fine. EL blocks outbound SMTP (so he'll have to send messages through EL's server). |

He's probably trying to *send* mail using your smtp box too. Is that correct ?? If so, yes, EL will block that.
