I thought the 4200 just gives you component video hookups and USB port, the 4200HD gives you HDTV functionality, but other than that, I think they are the same. |

What exactly do you think is more advanced about the 4200 than the 1850? I can tell you -- they both do the same thing.. But Im curious why you think the 4200 does more.

SA 1850, is a low quality box made for Cablevision and bronx/brooklyn. 4200 is more advance, but i guess the 1850 is tolerable for now |

there are however two versions of the 1850, there are the ones with the S-video and digital audio coax, and the ones without. |

Nothing to upgrade unless you have an HDTV set -- 1850 is standard issue in Bronx & Brooklyn. |
