One of these screening clowns came in yesterday, this company smells of scam! The guy wouldn't answer any questions, and when pressed by me, he said it was a canned speech and his job was just to try to get me sign a mountain of paperwork, and then I would get about 5 phone calls with the real closers trying to get me to commit to 5 years of magic box payments. He said he is looking for a new job so he no problem telling me this. What a joke this company is!!!! |

I have spent all night reading the threads about Norvergence because I was considering pursuing employment opportunities with this "Boiler Room" company! I got to reading and then began recognizing too many similarities with ADTRAN products.
Well... Here is Norvergence's "Merged Access Transport Intelligent Xchange (MATRIX)Product they tout as the Long Awaited "Killer Application" of Voice and Data - Their words, not mine.
I just love their next statement:
"The NorVergence MATRIX Phone System was engineered and designed based on the latest Next Generation Network Technologies from the Fortune 500 in early 2000. OHH! And don't forget it comes with a generous 5 year warranty from NorVergence even though you get a 10 year warranty from Adtran!
But wait, it gets better: The company - NorVergence - was founded after a year of NDA Development in 2001 by Peter J. Salzano, Chairman and Chief Executive Office. WOW! It must have taken a whold lot of work to sign the paper saying he would by these from Adtran and just Change the name.
FOLKS... IF YOU STILL DON'T BELIEVE... YOU JUST CAN'T BE HELPED! EVEN THOUGH IT DEFIES LOGIC.. PEOPLE STILL INSIST ELVIS IS STILL ALIVE...
It will really be much easier to just purchase the box from Adtran. They made it! they have REAL customer support!, their warranty is 5 years longer that NorVergences, and Adtran really has a much nicer brochure!

First off unlike you I have career. I have never stated anything I could not back up. Regarding the Nortel relationship, I posted the Nortel written response on the board with contact information. I have always stated to readers provide back up and when available I have done so along with contact information. I am glad to see proof the relationship with Norvergence and Nortel has come forward even through it is over for whatever reason. Going forward if people ask about the relationships I will use the letter and contact information provided.
Additionally, I expressed my points and personal situation with the company for what I went through and why I choose not to work for the company. When people ask why I only stated what I went through or conversations I've had and the view points given. While you are doing well at Norvergence others have chose to express their experiences good or bad. I can not validate those claims nor have I ever attempted to wrongfully provide claims to hurt the business.
For those who can't back up the statements, well it appears Norvergence might be knocking at the door. My "beef" with them was resolved a couple of weeks back and I immediately posted such results.
While some clearly have an issue with the company and choose to just post HATE, for the record I don't support those using this board as a weapon to post crap which can not be verified only for the purpose of hurting any one person or company creditability.
Anyone considering employment or signing up for service should always take time to complete further research before making any such decision and only use the board as a resource. For those of us who have done this our decision was made and we have to live with it. Who knows, I may have lost out on the 150K per year job! That would suck, huh? |
