This was taken on the same day as I took the fireworks picture. There was a boat out on the lake, waiting for the fireworks with the 'best view in the house'. I was surprised the picture even turned out as I got the light metering from the sun. |

Sunlit Fern Sunlight happened to be coming through the trees just right so as to light up just this one single fern growing on a bed of moss. There's a daddy long legs sitting on the other fern leaf.
Taken at Thunder Rocks, Allegheny State Park, NY. |

Congrats, Gramzster !! Pretty cool how 2 guys from little ol' London, Ontario have won the contest 2 weeks in a row. Well, ok. Maybe it's just cool to me.
Anyhow, here's my submission. An action shot at my son's soccer game. -- Must...not...feed...the...trolls... / Canadian Wireless FAQ / Get your answers to life here. |

I was hiking on a part of the Bruce Trail when I spotted this wild rose. I've never seen one with so many petals. I hope I wasn't supposed to resize this before I uploaded it. |

Taken of some ground fireworks with a little jerky movement on purpose. Almost looks like some sort of stick figure that is moving forward. |

I'll throw this one in. It's a shot I took while walking along the Ottawa River. I was actually trying to capture the glow of the sun behind the clouds, but when I got home and looked at the pic I was surprised to see I had captured the sunbeams! The way the light reflects off the water, and the sillhouettes of the trees and geese just add to the drama. If photography is the capture of light, then this is one of my best pics thus far. |

At a pow-wow last Sunday. I wish it had been sunny, more bright light on all the colors would have been much more dramatic. |
