| Cap me ...and you've lost 6 loyal customers
I've had RR for almost 2 years along with their digital cable. (about $110 monthly). I've seen 3 price hikes as well as a drop in my connection speeds but I'm still content with what I have. My friends in my apt complex have similar packages. We have other alternatives for broadband (DSL, Satellite). If this pending cap goes through, that's roughly a little over 7 grand in yearly sales that AOL/TW will lose. I'm sure others will defect too.
While it may not seem like alot to AOL/TW....give it time....as more people see how ludicrous this is...the more they may regret doing it. Perfect example would be to look at Bell Sympatico. They imposed these same type of caps and pissed off their customer base something fierce!!! A few mos later they 'wisely' re-thought that idea and got rid of those caps! |
