Re: NIGHTMARE - AT&T Global Network Client + Linksys

I am having the same problem with AT&T Net client. The problem started when I went to a Linksys WPC11 Ver 4 PCMCIA card, the version 3 card works fine so I don't think it is the ports. I connect directly to the network through a Linux server and the pereson that manages the server informed me the port were open. I received the same response from Linksys. But I have not contacted ATT&T yet. Linksys does know they have a problem with the Version 4 card but they do not have a fix.

I have a slightly more bizarre situation. I have a WAP11 router and my machine has a linksys wireless PC card. I can connect through AT&T vpn fine using the wireless connection to my router, but if I try and do it when directly connected to the router (no wireless card in machine) AT&T bombs out with a memory access problem.
Internet access is fine either way.
