Re: Hmmmm

Well then part of that course should be 'not getting caught'. I have a feeling though that more and more of them will get caught now-the days of getting away with this are going away. Well at least for now because of the economy-if the economy had never gotten bad, we probably never would have known about it.....

What, exactly makes you say that. Where have you seen the WH do anything about corporate scandals in anything but name only lip service.

The shrub administration talks a good talk about prosecuting white collar criminals but so far, they have not taken any meaningful steps in that direction, which is precisely one of the main reasons why investors are skittish.

Unless you're counting standing in front of a sign that reads "corporate responsibility" for a staged press conference with scripted Q & A, the do-nothing WH is just blowing smoke. I'll believe "something" is being done to rectify corporate scandals and the guilty parties (like Ken Lay, et. al.) are being punished when I see significant, meaningful action being taken. Until then, all else is a bullsh1t smoke & mirrors ploy by the WH to make gullible people think that guilty parties are being punished.
