Maybe it's node specific. Try sending an email to them and asking for them to look into it. My experience is email is a much less stressful way to communicate with the local office. »help.insightbb.com/contact_us/in···ingfield

Yes, I have glanced at that thread. It is not isolated to search engines. It happens on any site and even when I check my mail(not Insight) in Eudora. No trojan here. I even checked my hosts file to be sure.  But like I posted last night, I have not had any issues since earlier last night. It seems to be prominent at busy times (6pm-9pm)....

Might be worth a look. Google,Yahoo,MSN and all the other sites I've tried this AM to access are coming up fine on my end. So unless this area specific I'm at a loss for an explanation. Unless maybe this is something setup specific.

Geez! Once again I am having problems resolving domain names using the DNS servers Insight issues to me via DHCP. Anyone else having similar issues (again) like myself? More importantly, if you are using different DNS servers than the ns(x).attbi.com clan of servers I would be most appreciative to hear what they are. My problem, though is not consistent. Its hit or miss. Currently they are working fine (ns1 and ns2.attbi.com) but when they stop for just a minute, its enough to cause a headache.

Finally resolved at 2:30am. Now I can get 4 hours of sleep. I'll just remind myself tomorrow not to use InsightBB's DNS anymore. |

I'm currently not seeing any issues on my end. But there may be a problem on a particular side of town etc. Or of course the problem could be related to something entirely non related to Insight. Google, Yahoo and others all check out for me right now. maybe the bad weather in our area effected something this evening. Just getting home from Knights Route 66 Drive In - rode out there storm there.

Springfield IL...I have not been experiencing any problems..however, that's not to say there are no DNS problems associated with Insight

I've noticed that a few times a day Google (of all sites) will not resolve properly. This is really odd. I hope they get it fixed soon. |

| Anyone else experiencing DNS problems again? I remember reading a thread a while back mentioning other DNS servers, but can't seem to locate it. I don't understand why Insight won't implement their own DNS server(s) instead of using AT&T's. A recursive DNS server practically maintains itself. Just a thought...
