Technique! Week 4

Welcome to Technique! Week 4. Week 3 is officially closed for new photos. Special thanks to AzzKicker See Profile for sharing his cool color technique! Everyone uploaded some amazing pictures using that technique.

The goal of this thread is for one of the members of the forum to share a photographic technique with the rest of the forum. Then we can all practice this technique & upload our results. The technique doesn't have to be limited to digital editing. It can be related to other things as well, like exposure, depth-of-field, etc. A good example of a technique thread can be found here.

Who has a technique they'd like to share with the forum?

I though it was going to be Hullodare's face changing. He had some great pics.

Let me rephrase that "Hullodare's face changing technique!":)

Don't forget about us using PSP. I've got a transparent picture and now I'm stuck. I'm new at using masks etc.

Here is HORRIFYING example of face swapping. My handsome son and my gorgeous daughter-in-law. She makes a good looking man, but my son makes a a dreadful woman.:D

I tried out this tutorial, but I'm very confused with Step 5. I don't really understand the instructions there, and my image gets all messed up. Maybe if someone could rephrase the instructions a bit more clearly, and break that step down a bit more, it would be easier for me to understand. Thanks!

The hardest part i've found about swaping faces & places, is finding good (fake) source photo's.. I've got lots of good pics of me, but not many of celebs, the president, etc..

Hullodare (my hero): where did you get those background images in all of your (now famous) face-swapping posts? They all seem like very high-res, high quality pics! i cant find anything like 'em on the web..

I frequently use the Google image search to find high rez images......but.....it takes a long time to find just the right photo. A tip that may help you on the Google search would be as follows: When you search for something such as a good image of Paris....type in the Google images section search box Paris Wallpaper. Always follow whatever you are looking for with "Wallpaper"...that way the images are more than likely high rez. I also get numerous images from Newsgroups. Check out the Wallpaper newsgroups.

I love it!!!! That's so great, Hullodare! Thanks for the wallpaper search tips, btw. That pic of N.D. was one that I took almost four years ago....before I valued high-res pics! LOL

Here is a web site that can assist people in how to make a fake image....much like the ones I create. My techniques were not developed from this site but a combination of several sites and trial and error. It took me about a year to get to the level I am at now. *WARNING: This link contains some nudity (not much however)......and nothing really graphic....but nudity just the same.
