I too am a northpoint victim. I was told be telocity there are no last miles carriers, and that they were dumping me. This was after 3 weeks of BS telling me that there would be no problem, and that verizon would be my carrier. Now, I was told that I would have email, and dialup until 4/30. Ok, no problem, I was moving mail out of my telocity mailbox into anothter, and what do you know, on 4/14 I could no longer get into my email box. AS of 4/26 still no satisfaction, and I call daily. My dialup still works, just not email, and I had alot of mail in there that I needed, and now have no access to. Telocity will follow northpoint. It may take a little longer, but they will be in the same boat as northpoint, and others. They have treated the northpoint customers like the pile you see left on the side of the road from a dog. Stay away from them at all costs. I found a local ISP that can give me 768/128 when no other could. INstall next week. Would have been sooner had I not waited 3 weeks to be screwed by telocity. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! | |
