If they plan to stay around, they better open their eyes. As i've stated before, they are good for the first time PCer, but they still need to check their prices because there are alot of other service providers that charge half the amount they do. |

| I agree. AOL is a great service for someone who has never had a PC, but for experienced users, it's too much overhead.
When I bought a PC for my father 2 1/2 years ago, he knew nothing about them. So, I signed him up for AOL, and then in a year, we found him a good ISP for about 12/month.
He's doing great now. He can resize, crop and edit photos, enter info into his own database, make banners etc.
AOL has it's purpose, but in my opinion, unless they change their price structure, it's only going to be for those who know nothing about a computer, or those who get it free with their computer. |
