They're taking advantage of morons that can't use a computer. Wouldn't you? I think AOL gets a good laugh out of this everyday.
The bottom line is, people don't want to learn to use a computer. They don't care about cookies, popups, PPPoE and DCHP, they just want to go on, and be on, for a while, with no learning whatsoever. If they don't want to learn anything, what can I say, they'll get screwed over with overpriced internet and a slow ass computer.
