 | Logging In Would be nice(conveniently speaking)to have the cursor already flashing in the members name box when logging in. This has probably been brought up before. Help me Obi-Wan Justin, your my only hope.;) -- Burning the midnight oil, motor oil that is. |

 | Yes this is true but you know what I'm getting at. When you click on a link to fill out an application or survey, the cursor is already flashing in the first box. Then tab through the page. Shouldn't be hard to make this addition to the lines of code. -- Burning the midnight oil, motor oil that is. |

| reply to blackeyes0 If it CAN be done, why not? I **sign**, but my HTML knowledge isn't strong enough to allow me to have the cursor in a particular form field upon loading a page.

| reply to blackeyes0 Hmmm....for those of us that have BBR\DSLR in our Trusted Zone if using IE....our cookies are saved....which means our "members name" is already in the box....if we're signing back in. This would also hold true for IE users that accept BBR\DSLR cookies in Internet Zone.

That's not true in either IE or Mozilla. I always have to type in my user name. The only time you sign in is when you run a batch file to clean out your history, cookies, TIF , etc. (Or you clean everything out of Mozilla including all stored cookies). You are logged in for 30 days unless you delete your cookie. So, are you talking about at the 30 day point when you have to reconfirm that then your user name is already there? Yes, it is...but I thought this request was for when you clean up and then have no cookie.

I'm speaking of for example....logging out and then logging right back in. If the BBR\DSLR cookie has not been deleted the name is in the box OR is that not true also and we have to agree to dis-agree -- Hatred causes destruction....Love causes construction |

Mele20Premium join:2001-06-05 Hilo, HI kudos:4 | Gee...I haven't any idea because I don't think I have ever logged out and logged right back in. I never log out and hated it when we had to confirm our passwords every week...once a month is too often even! I have though deleted the dslr cookies (I don't have any bbr cookies) when cleaning and I do think in that case it would be nice to have the cursor flashing already in the members name box and then have it move automatically to the password box. -- "Everything can be taken from a man or woman but one thing: the last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's destiny." | Every so often I like to clean up the memory with NSW. You then proceed to log in. I'd like to see a flashing cursor so I don't have to touch the tab key or reach for the mouse. I know, it is lazy but if it can be done, why not.;) It's just a suggestion, Obi-Wan Justin. -- Burning the midnight oil, motor oil that is. |
