| | BT happy customer shocker Well I must be a rare user, because I only had one problem with BT, and the whole thing from initial request to fully connected took about two weeks.
My problem? They had supplied the wrong driver software. I quick chat with technical support and I soon downloaded the correct driver.
I also got a follow-up call about two weeks later, checking everything had gone ok. I mentioned the driver software then and they were very apologetic.
Since then I've swapped modems to an ethernet modem, allowing me to plug it into a switch and it all works fine. All PCs on my home network now connect effortlessly with no downtime.
My father, who only lives about 5 miles away, has had problems with his BT connection, but mine has been fine. I must be one of the lucky ones. |
