| Issues with yahoo games, and linksys router
okay, so i got my router ((linksys befsr11, updated firmware to 1.45.6, Jun 24 2003)).... I am having an issue with it... when I am playing a game like yahoo gin it takes a very very long time for an action to take place. When I have the computer directly connected to the cable modem. Everything works fine. no lag at all...
is there anything I can do in the router to speed the connection up. I know it isn't yahoo, cause like I said, everything is okay when directly connected to the modem.

| I continue to have issues with my BEFW11S4 Linksys router and YAHOO Messenger... I have enabled UpnP, did port triggering for various YAHOO ports and enabled MTU... All per Linksys tech support and nothing has helped so far... Something about the LinkSys routers and YAHOO services don't get along...

I just set my NIC to 10mb half duplex, and everything seems to work fine now... but only time will tell...  |
