I am up... and with double the speed. Had Telocity 786/3-something-or-another.
So I read on this forum that someone made the switch to Focal. I applied, they said 5-10 business days. It was about 12 business days. I now have 1.5 down/512 up for a little bit more a month. Personal tech support. I couldn't recommend this more. Although, I was very impatient because I use my DSL for VPN'ing to work... I hope everyone who switches to InfoRamp (Focal) gets the same experience I do. Ask for Jocelyn (I think that is her name, she did her best).
To me, Telocity said they needed ANOTHER 90-120 days. I said keep your service, but I just got my loop completed yesterday just under your nose. 90-120 days?!??! ARE THEY NUTS?!?!?!! |
