| AVAST4...How2 stop auto-loading
I just installed the free AVAST4-Home Edition and it's OK. It did give me one bogus Trojan Warning already. What I really want to do is reinstall my Norton 2002 AV. (Gonna give up the booze and/or cigs for a week to pay for it again!LOL)
I haven't figured out how to stop AVAST from auto-loading, other than disabling it in XP-AdminTools-Services. I did a search in their forum but got no help, thought I might get a quicker and more reliable response here!
I like to install vital programs while disconnected from the internet and with firewall and AT programs not running. Lessens the chance of interference.
Thanks for any help. [text was edited by author 2003-08-22 01:55:42] |
