Re: DWL120+ blues

Did u call tech support back after it locked your computer? Make sure you have the latest Windows updates and BIOS upgrade to your computer. Windows 98 and USB are not a good combo. Sometimes you need to unplug the usb device from the computer until computer is booted up. Plug the device in and should correct the lockup. Is your USB controller sharing an IRQ? Are you connecting the 120+ directly to computer or to a usb hub?

If you have an Intel 82801 USB host controller, try this Intel INF update.

bought a 120+ from computers4sure...installed on a win98 machine and it didn't work..called d-link tech support and they said upgrade to win98se..i did..it worked so i clipped the upc amnd mailed it for a rebate...by the next day it totally locked up the machine and nothing works...now according to the store i can't return it w/o a upc and d-link only offers exchanges for a like product...i realize i should have waited but it stinks that they advetise it as compatible with win98 when it isn't...anyone wanna sell me a upc )
