In other words, you are right and I am wrong.

Thanks,

just put it this way... its alot of virus's and its not RR's fault its just how the internet is right now, alot of people are infected... also some of your pings are from RR servers, they ping your equipment and send arp request to get your modem/host info, thats perfectly normal

Its the Nachia worm. Dont feel bad. I have 18973 pings from 3602 different RR ips in the past 3 days alone.

It's called SoBig.

The FBI is working on it.

Paranoia is an inappropriate response. Have a Sam Adams and wait for it to go away. (Dos Equis, maybe?)

Hello. I'm from San Diego and I use RR and for the last 3 days I have been getting pinged by other RR ip's like crazy. About 10 pings per minute, sometimes 3 pings per second. It's all RR ip's and RR support told me it's probably a DOS attack. However, the pinging continued when I switched the cable to my laptop where I have a different ip addy.

I was just wondering if any of you have been experiencing similar things and/or if any of you have any ideas as to how to stop it. Thanks.
