We have Adelphia Digital cable without any premium movie channels and you do get allot of channels, most of them we don't ever watch. You will get a digital box and they will set that up for you. We only have digital on 1 television because we would have had to pay for each t.v. that had a box and we didn't think that was necessary.
Make sure you have a vcr on another t.v. that doesn't have digital cable because you can't watch other channels while your recording something on the t.v. that you have the digital cable on. I found this out the hard way. While I thought I was recording the very last episode of "The X-Files" all that it recorded was the sports channels he was surfing! You can record with the t.v. thats digital but you can't change the channels while your recording. I have asked many Adelphia people if there is a way around this and everyone said digital cable isn't made to do that yet. |
