The weather channel, www.weather.com, has one now, I've used it, and it doesn't have any spyware and I think that it is just as good if not better than weather bug. |

| reply to woolie2 Some versions have reportedly included Gator along with it, while others appear to be only adware (no spyware, but the program window itself displays banner ads.) The one I have on my system, version 3.0, appears to use Weatherbug's own servers to fetch the ads from, while earlier versions used Doubleclick for their ad banners. I don't see any ads anyway as it uses the same IE proxy settings as my ad filtering software uses. -- "Kayura or Badamon, whichever you are, you should know that I will never give up this battle. I personally have the application in my Ad-Aware ignore list. |

| reply to woolie2 I love the Weather Pulse program from tropical design. With broadband, you get instant access.
I use to be a Weather Channel and weather.com addict, but with all the ads and crap they have, I haven't visited in over a year.
Highly recommended... -- "Where am I" I asked. "Your on the Island of Conclusions" he replied. "How did I get here?" said I. "Why you jumped here, of course" |

if you get it from the main site itself and not a 3rd party site (local tv station site) you wont get the packaged gator crap with it....
i been using it for about 4 or 5 years, using version 5.02 right now -- My BookMarks |

Weatherbug has no spyware. It has pop-up ads when you close the main window, but there's no spyware. -- Have you tweaked your OOL connection? |

| reply to woolie2 I use both, for only one reason. I live on weather pulse but there is one thing i need that it doesnt have. Moon phases. Weather bug has them and thats about all i open it for. Its interesting to know what phase when you plan a fresh water fishing trip. |
