| 46.7 million get to read e-mail faster... wow.
Numbers and stats are nice, broadband is addictive, and you'll never think about going back to dial-up. But where's the CONTENT that will get people to say "crap, I gotta get broadband, dude!"
Yeah, I love my DSL, but I've yet to do something with it(besides saving time, and Spinner) that I couldn't do with dial-up. -- SBC Tech Support |

| reply to LordMalak Hello,
I do not know about you, but broadband has made possible for me to work from home, and transfer huge files back and forth. Here in Atlanta, the Gov is asking businesses to find ways of letting people telecommute, and this is were broadband/DSL will come into play. Plus I have created some of my own content, most will never see. With broadband I can keep my far flung family up to date with what is happening with my tribe with video, and other digital products. And like a couple of years ago, we will probably have another tele- holiday(Thanksgiving/Christmas). My sister-in-law is getting married, and the plan is to web cast the event for those who can not be there. So I say create your own content, and see what other uses you can find for broadband/DSL |
