There is also SlashCode (.com), which is used by the popular Slashdot site (I'm sure you've heard of it ). |

| reply to Zhen-Xjell While WordPress was originally based on b2, I doubt there's any lines actually left of b2 in WordPress. Calling it as such is completely wrong.
If you actually wanted to link to b2's site, that'd be »www.cafelog.com/ . b2's been dead for years though, so it's not worth linking to it.
You should link to WordPress as you currently are, but with the changed name, as well as "b2evolution »www.b2evolution.net/ " even though WordPress has since incorporated all but a few of the features that used to make b2evo stand out. (WordPress is currently the best of the 3.) -- I have a signature. | I also have a website/blog. | I even have a computer! |

| reply to Zhen-Xjell Enterprise CMS Reviews?
I see numerous links to Enterprise CMS solutions being posted. However, I don't seem to be able to find a site similar to opensourcecms.org that covers commercial solutions. Anyone know of such a resource? Even better would be something that shows general price ranges for these enterprise CMS solutions... I hate having to "contact sales" for basic pricing info. -- Proud member of BBR Team Starfire |

I had seen this and figured I would chime in, we are using what was once Mambo and now Joombla! »www.joombla.com/ it's open source and does everything we need for our Intranet.
If you want to "Pay" for it, here is the free version with $$$ attached to the end.

| I did my own reviews of a number of CMS's. I spent a few weeks loading and trying them. I started by looking for a perl one, but found the PHP ones so much easier to work with, I've converted hehe.
I found e107 and I could have stopped there. I tried a some more, and retried a few but, to me, e107 beats the rest.
easy install nice admin EASY to write custom plugins for it Lot of existing plugins Great, freindly community (important).
Many of them seem to have forks or feuding communities, but e017 seems like a great CMS and community.
I am sure it's not the best for everyone, but it was the best one for me. |

CMS Made Simple
Here's a pretty good CMS with a small (but growing) community. It's got great potential, but the documentation is a bit weak. It's still worth a look see, IMHO. -- "[Our enemies] never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." G.W. Bush (8/05/2004) |
