| Millennium selling contracts to Comcast
I just wanted to make people aware of the fact that Millennium Digital Media (MDM) seems to be in the process of selling of some of their cable provider contracts to Comcast over the next several months. The apartments I currently live in are serviced exclusively by MDM, but they have been unable to upgrade their service here to include broadband cable Internet access, so they are offering their exclusive right to the apartment complex I live in (along with others, according to people at MDM I spoke with on the phone around a month ago). My apartment managers at first had no idea of this change, but now they're saying it's going to happen for us in the next month or two. Apparently I am completely surrounded by Comcast coverage areas, so I'm hoping that I will be able to finally get broadband when the change happens. In the case that anyone else is in the same predicament as me, I just wanted to give you some hope! |
