Nero 5.5.10 Burning a bootable disk

I must be doing something wrong. I've tried making two different disks that should be bootable. One a Linux iso image and another of memtest. None seem to work correctly. My cdrom is the first in the list on bootable devices in my BIOS. Any suggestions.
