Re: WRT54G Increased transmission strength Regarding my earlier post about not seeing much difference in signal - I stand corrected. I just tested it again but farther away from the router. There is more difference than I thought. -- Crunch for Team Starfire! |

| Well that's not exactly how I wanted to post a picture. Different for every board. I don't know how I got a zip attachment, but I got it figured it out. [text was edited by author 2003-09-26 21:50:25]

| Yep That's all you got to do. You can change the 84 to any lower number you want also. I started out at 50 and then to 60 then to 84 running each setting for a couple days to make sure there was no problems. It's been running fine.

Camel ToeTrying Is The First Step Towards Failure join:2002-12-25 Marlboro, NJ | reply to manross Is the muffin fan connected to a power plug inside your computer? Is there a way to get power to it from an wall outlet? |

| looks like a computer fan, DC 12v.
ps, using 84mw on my wrt54g for over 3 weeks now, no problems, no noticable heat increase. But I have mine near the window. [text was edited by author 2003-09-27 12:05:08] |

manross join:2003-09-05 Colorado Springs, CO | reply to Camel Toe It's a 12v dc fan and is powered by a common wall plug 120ac to 12dc converter power pack. Marty |
