| RADSL question
When will this be implemented and why should I care?
What is the improvement that it will bring to me as a residential customer who allready thinks I have a pretty good product? -- What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about? Hmm? |

| Instead of having discreet sync rate profiles of 192, 384, 768, 1536 and 6016, your modem and the DSLAM/RT will negotiate the highest reliable sync rate up to the purchased package limits. This means that someone who can handle 1280 without losing sync but can't at 1536 is not throttled all the way down to 768. Same thing on the upload side.
This is the way it was around here up till a year or so ago when they turned it off, and it worked great. Now it's coming back.
Your upload speed will increase from 128-256, 256-384 or 384-608, depending on what package you already have, when this is implemented on your port. -- Open your eyes see the lies right in front of you. |

I know for a fact I am, otherwise I wouldn't have the unusual sync rate I do. |

All the profiles are rate adaptive unless the line is hard capped at a certain speed. I general, the rate-adaptive work ok, although the error rate will be somewhat higher as the line fluctuates up and down depending on conditions.

Sounds to me like the line is mimicing it's owner.... /jk
